His great-great-grandfather - Paolo Conterno - founded a family business in Piedmont almost 130 years ago. The region is known for the unique red wines of Barolo from the Nebbiolo grape variety that the Kernerno family grows in the best area - Cru Ginestra.

Wines regularly collect the highest awards in Italian and international reference books and ratings (Gambero Rosso, James Sackling, Robert Parker). For dinner, Giorgio Conterno, together with restaurant sommelier Sofia Shepeto, selected wines for original dishes from The Repa chef Igor Zorin. Dinner is supported by CentroBalt.
